About
Modern Pointillism
Pointillism is a style of painting from the 19th century or sooner, in which the complete artwork is not painted by brushstrokes but rather by a great amount of dots in different shades that create a special harmonious appearance.
At first glance, the work looks like an ordinary painting, but as you get closer, you notice how the dots create small, seemingly meaningless color groups, that actually make up the picture as a whole.
